MANAGEMENT
Yeshiwork Woldeher
Co-Founder & President
Yeshiwork Woldeher is a senior international trade and manufacturing expertise with over 20 years of experience in import/export, international trade, business development, International Finance and banking, global economics, sales & distribution management, freight forwarding, and custom regulations. She is a high performing executive with a proven track record of leadership in restructuring failing companies to success and profitability. Yeshiwork has successfully negotiated and facilitated trade deals in acquisitions of multinational companies. She also has played an instrumental role in the launching of new companies such as GHION GAS, where she served as CEO and later transitioned to Ethiopian Plywood after it was acquired by Ghion Gas, restructuring and managing the then failing company. She also helped establish Momentum Logistic and Construction PLC and Momentum Media Productions, both based in Ethiopia. As a President of Momentum Pharmaceutical PLC, Yeshiwork will oversee all activities of the VP's and Directors of the company. She has a B.A. in Business and Accounting from the Commercial School of Addis Ababa, AAU. She also has multiple certifications and trainings in business management and international trade and freight /custom regulations.
Dr. Getachew Woldeher, M.D.
Co-Founder & VP of International Affairs and Business Development
Dr. Getachew Woldeher is an executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. He is currently responsible for strategic planning of Momentum company goals, new business development, international marketing and sales of the company. He helps in connecting multinational pharmaceutical companies to partner with Momentum, introducing their products to the emerging African market. He also manages product selection, QC & QA, and manufacturer GMP inspections for momentum pharmaceuticals. Dr. Woldeher is the Founder, Chairman, and Managing Director of "The Blue Nile Medical Group", a medical practice that runs medical/doctor offices, hospitals and nursing homes in the USA. It was established in 2001 in northern Virginia . It has MD's, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. As Founder and previous medical director of the Blue Nile, Dr. Woldeher has develped the company from a group with one office to multiple medical offices and nursing homes locations. Dr Woldeher has been a board member and senior advisor of business policy, diversification and expansion projects for The Ghions in Ethiopia for over 20 years and is also the Managing Director of Ghion’s USA affairs. Dr. Woldeher was born from a hard working business family, completing his formal education in 1985, later completing medical school in Ethiopia in 1991. He then worked for 5 years in a private hospital in Addis Ababa. While pursuing his career, he attended Wayne State Universitys' affiliated residency program, specializing in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 2000. He has also obtained numerous certifications and attended many seminars in the fields of medicine, pharmaceuticals and business development.
Nadia Abdulkhafur
Co-Founder, VP of Regulatory and Technical Affairs, & Chief Pharmacist
Nadia Abdulkhafur is a senior Pharmacist with many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a VP of Regulatory and Technical Affairs she is responsible for market survey, product selection, procurement activities, and distribution to wholesalers and retailers. She also oversees the registration of products, document & dossier preparation, establishing regulatory standards, monitoring licensing requirements, quality assurance and quality control. Nadia supervises and trains Momentum's sales and medical representatives and conducts medical education seminars for associated doctors, retail pharmacies and drug stores, informing them of Momentum's products. Nadia is a very pleasant, focused, detail oriented and compassionate professional. Before joining Momentum Pharmaceutical PLC, Nadia worked in pharmaceutical distribution in all aspects of supply chain management for over 20 years. She owns and manages pharmacies in Addis Ababa (Capital City of Ethiopia), and has been involved from product selection to the process of importation to end user distribution throughout most of her career. She earned a B.S. in Pharmacy from Addis Ababa University's School of Pharmacy in 1990 and has conducted multiple CME’s and seminars throughout her career.
Tamrat Gezahegne
VP of Sales , Marketing and Distribution
As a VP of Sales and Marketing, Tamrat is responsible for the import process, including handeling letters of credit as well as custom and transportation logistics. He is also responsible for distribution through the supply chains from wholesalers to retailers and to internet distribution channels. He oversees the marketing of Momentum company products and currently works as CEO of Momentum Construction and Logistics. Prior to joining Momentum, Tamrat worked in a leadership position at the Ethiopian Shipping & Logistic Service Enterprise. He is an accomplished executive with vast experience in import/export business operations, logistics and supply chain management, shipping, stevedoring, shore handling, finance, strategic marketing, business expansion, product development, distribution, vendor relations, public relations, human resources and government contracting. Tamrat is a persuasive and tenacious leader with a proven track record in achieving business results by developing strategic alliances, identifying new markets and developing business processes. He has proven success with increasing sales and expanding market share, while controlling expenses. Tamrat holds a B.A. in Business Administartion and an M.A. in Psychology from Addis Ababa University. He also has multiple certifications on various business topics.
Samson Tegegne
Manager, Global Operations & Business Development
Mr. Tegegne is a Business Development and Human Resources Management expert with over 15 years of lead organization development, management analysis, and global operations experience. As a Development Officer for the Ethiopian Roads Authority he developed HR policies, annual plans, and budgets; Conducted job analysis and job evaluation, recommended benefit package changes; implemented process improvements, succession plans, and training needs/impact evaluations. During his tenure Mr. Tegegne was promoted 3 times. As a Human Resources and Administration Manager with International Rescue Committee in New York and Addis Ababa, Mr. Tegegne managed the hiring process, including for senior level positions and conducted new employee orientation for officer and senior management hires. He communicated and clarified HR standards and government regulations, resolved and properly documented disciplinary actions and grievance issues. He also planned, organized and implemented annual operational and budgetary goals for the IRC. Joining the Jomex International and Momentum Pharma team in 2014, Mr. Tegegne serves as the Manager of Global Operations and Business Development where he implements a variety of critical tasks. He is charged with conducting research on commercializing the pharmaceutical products and services, analyzing and interpreting market trends to identify potential threats, while devising marketing mechanisms to protect and Momentum and Jomex brand. Supporting the growth of the companies, Mr. Tegegne finds opportunities to expand and promote awareness on pharmaceutical and health care products and services, representing Jomex and Momentum Pharma at business development and marketing related events globally. He holds a B.A. in Management from Addis Ababa Univeristy and earned his MBA from Hanze University of Greoningen in 2010.

Martin L. Jeivens
JPC President
Martin L. Jeiven is the President and Founder of Jeiven Pharmaceutical Consulting, Inc. founded in 1989. Prior to this, Marty was the Manager of Clinical and Pre-Clinical materials at the R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute at Ortho Pharmaceutical Corporation. He also held the position of Research Pharmacist at Ciba-Geigy where he served as a development scientist in solid dosage formulation research before coming to Ortho in 1982. In an effort to create an atmosphere of information sharing in this highly specialized industry, Marty founded the Clinical Supplies Support Group (CSSG) in 1995. To better serve his clients’ needs, Marty has also established Pharmaceutical Training Seminars, Inc. (PTS), Pharmaceutical Staffing Solutions, LLC (PSS), and AdiraMedica, LLC. Marty earned his BS, BPharm and MS (Physiology) degrees from Rutgers University. He has done graduate work in animal physiology at Rutgers, and in medicine at the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. Marty has practiced hospital and community pharmacy.
Arvind Bhandari,
Director of Project Management, JPC
Arvind Bhandari is the Director of Project Management at Jeiven Pharmaceutical Consulting, Inc. Arvind serves as Vice President of AdiraMedica LLC. Prior to joining JPC, he worked for Shasun Chemicals and Drugs Ltd. in India as Business Development Manager for their US operations and previously as Deputy Head of Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance. He holds BPharm and MS (Chemistry) degrees from Birla Institute of Technology & Science in India.
